Can't develop raw

Can't develop raw

When I select a raw file, chdk tells me to "switch camera to record mode and take one shot" to develop it, but when I do that, the camera just takes a new picture.

Am I misunderstanding the instructions here?

Are you sure it really takes a new picture?
Try go to playback-mode, and look at the last taken picture. It is supposed to be a developed version of the raw you choose.
