I wonder if it would be possible to zoom, with optical zoom, while filming with the sx200, by modifying the firmware ?

This is the section for StereoData Maker (SDM), did you mean to post your question here ?

If so, that means you want to zoom two cameras connected by USB switch, is that correct ?

No, sorry, I meant only the possibilty to use optical zooming while using movie function.
