More minor tweaks to the UI, eg infinity is indicated by oo, and an additional feature.
For those that require it, DOFIC now allows you to display the Circle of Confusion that is being used. This will be camera dependent, ie on crop, and for my G1X CHDK uses 16 microns.
With this feature enabled, DOFIC will look something like this:
[16] 2<H: 58/4/58 [-]
This tells us that the CoC is 16, that from the current focus position you will need to take two focus bracket to get to the hyperfocal, that the current defocus blur at infinity is 58 microns, that the diffraction blur is 4 microns, the combined blur at infinity is some 58 microns, and you have a focus gap relative to the last image captured.
With the CoC showing, all you need do is watch for DOFIC changing from <H to >H and note how far you are from the hyperfocal. Thus, in the example above, if DOFIC is showing an infinity defocus blur of 8, you know you are focused at twice the hyperfocal. If you saw 32, you are at half the hyperfocal
I have updated the CHDK scripts page, that explains how to use DOFIC.
