Thanks. I thought, that You have found a method to have two visible, bootable partitions, and just swap the booting partition (and so work partition) using CHDK.

Anyway - it could be interesting feature in chdk to use multipartition memory cards. Is there any way to implement it?

This is possible (and works fine) with a modified HD storage driver for Windows XP 32Bit

(e.g. like described here: http://mind-fields-ahead.blogspot.com/2008/04/canon-s5-is-chdk-hack-step-by-step.html)

I tried this before but it did not work for my card. Anyway it is a shame that windows does not support two partitions as Linux for example.
