i wonder would it be possible to switch to "main" or "high" H.264 movie encoding profile instead of the default "baseline" on Powershot G1X via CHDK scripting? Or that other profiles aren't supported by the hardware (DIGIC 5) at all?
The reason is, it would fit better to my usage to record a bit more lossy but much-much smaller videos, so i wouldn't need to buy and take five 32Gb memory card when i go for a trip.
I've just met this CHDK thing so i'm totally dumb to it but as being a developer, if some power users could give me some ideas where to start with this one i would give a try to hack it some time.
