Thanks.

That looks "correct" to me. It's not perfect by any means, but it's using the right palette type and the colors are approximately correct. This is pretty much the same as what I have on a540.

One issue I've noticed (same on a540) is the left most column is grayscale on the camera display. This must be a special case in the Canon firmware.

The saturation and brightness of the other colors is off a bit as well.  (edit: and a few colors are quite far off, e.g. the purple at 11,3 is blue on the camera)

I do have a note to go back and look more closely at the stuff rudi posted in http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=2361.msg80993#msg80993 at some point.

- The overlay colours are very strange: the grey gradients become rainbow coloured.
This is expected until the palette functions are implemented.
I implemented the palette and bitmap buffer functions for ixus100 in reyalp-ptp-live changeset 1710.

Untested, but looks quite similar to d10, so it might be OK.

Uploaded snapshot r219. This adds support for the type 3 palette, used by d10, g12 and other more recent cameras.

Hi,
I'v made test with -r219_-r1711 reyalp's last releases.
In expanded "view" when some sheckboxes are checked, it's a bit otside of my monitor.
But let the snapshots speak.
Fine job Mr.Wizard !

It does not matter, it was a minimal problem which is missing in r219.
The only problem which I see now is that what can not open the Camera folder, if the recorded video.

Get a bigger monitor ;)

Seriously though, I'll try to add an option to scale the live view area to fit at some point.

OK. I did fix a bug with the last color in the palette not getting set right.

When I record an AVI file (set the mode dial to Movie), I can not open the folder called "Camera" in the Files menu.
I must restart the GUI and camera, and then the "Camera" folder opens normally and can download AVI from 100CANON to PC.

There may be some messages in the console window which would help understand what is failing when you try to open the camera folder.
