restart camera again and 8+2 shows 56

and it is crashing after a couple presses of the buttons

I've added s95 to the CHDK autobuild.

Thank you waldo/reyalp for all the time and effort you've put into this. I just tested the S95 1.00E v0.9.9-1132 autobuild and, I have to admit, it is very buggy. I'm unable to even load a simple script. I'm using a 16GB SDHC card and I load CHDK manually (via Firm Update). I've reverted back to BETA v11, which works great for me. Thanks!

I downloaded this and it seams just the same with cr1sdm.bas. 8+1 and 8+2 clicked a couple times will blank out the camera. then it needs a reboot. Focus, Zoom Shoot & Video are the same.

Well, the code for Tv override is identical to CHDK version.

Set your camera to Tv mode and try again.

Also, just click 8+1 or 8+2 once and then shoot.

I have that newest download and it boots to 1.86. I did have a 1.86 version before. I have that newer CR1SDM.bas running with CHDK.
Pressing 8+2 showed 57 then I pressed button 7 and it did nothing then in a few seconds it crashed the camera. Restarted the camera and press 8+1 and it showed 51 then I pressed #7 and in a few again it crashed

The version will always be 1.86 even if I make changes for these tests.

In menu Advanced\Debug Params, enable 'Show Propcases' and set page to 26.
Exit ALT mode.

In Tv mode, set shutter speed to 1 second and half press shutter.
What is the value of Propcase 268 ?

Set shutter speed to 1/2 second and half press.

What is the value of 268 ?

I got set up like you said and set the shutter to 1"

I can't figure out how to view (( What is the value of Propcase 268 ?)) I do have the <ALT> menu off the screen exiting it.

Ok I have this:
In menu Advanced\Debug Params, enable 'Show Propcases' and set page to 26.

then I click <back then <back again to get to main menu screen.

Then I clicked MENU to exit the 1.86 menu

you say...
Exit ALT mode.
so I press the Print Button on the camera and <ALT> is off.

I have the camera set to Tv and turn dial from 1/8" to 1"

I then press the shutter button on the camera to Half Press and I don't see the value of Propcase 268 or know where to look for this value

I'm doing all this on the camera only. Turning the top dial to Tv is shooting mode. With ALT menu off you can't do much with Transmitter

I even try your instructions with the camera by itself. Unplugged from the USB and CR.

Do you understand what shooting mode is ?

You will see a live image on the screen.
You do not see images or movies that you have recorded.

SHooting mode is LIVE here on the LCD and while I hold down the camera's trigger button half way it does have a LIVE screen as I move the camera around. Even when I let the shutter button on the camera go it Beeps and stays in LIVE screen (Shooting Mode). I am now trying this with the camera ONLY with the settings in the SDM menu. I still do not see a column of #'s or can I get it to make them show up. I would say I must be doing something wrong here?

Do you see a header at the top of the screen ?
It will be coloured red or blue.
If not, you may have turned various displays off.
In ALT mode, briefly press the SET button and then exit ALT mode.

I have NO header on top or anywhere. I'm looking for various displays off. I have tried in ALt is pressing the shutter button half way and also all the way to run script but still nothing. Will look for various displays off.
