I know that it is not a real CHDK problem.
Which program can I use to convert my 640x480 mov videos (made with SX200IS) to any DVD compatible format?

There's probably lots of programs, but here's 1: Super (freeware)
Haven't tried it myself for mov's, but it claims to support them without needing external codecs.

dvdflick is a simple converter/dvd authoring software. oh, and free.
