ALT mode on and off with short press 'Video'. when there goes a video recording and when not. after some seconds showed hint on display. no crash, work stable.

now Play toggle ALT mode. change between Preview and Shoot mode with long press Play.
I'll do some code cleaning and change back the default ALT key to be Playback...and post that build for you later today.  Let us know here if you encounter any more problems or mysteries. After a few days I'll post a patch for SVN inclusion.

WiFi button is more convenient for ALT. it is not used so often and is near the Menu button.
can not see Zebra, i take settings from my SX40, and they not working.
maybe this is due to the screen resolution? this is Grid 3:8

Grids on digic 6 and higher resolution LCDs are a problem.  Right now the solution is to manually adjust and redo them.  As for zebra, I think it only works in shooting mode (I could be wrong)  and thresholds will need to be adjusted as well for the sx60

As promised, here is the working release for 100h firmware.  ALT key defaults to Play.

I'll have to let someone else comment on zebra.  I find it confusing.  Check your color settings.  Mine works both in rgb and without.  I set the upper threshold down at 22 and aimed at a ceiling light.  In rgb the light gets covered by a dark blue, without rgb an orange colour which is in my settings.  As for underexposure I must not understand something.  It doesn't seem to work.  But I know it worked in the past.
One thing that would be good to test is motion detection... maybe use mdtune.bas

+ MD_Tune.bas : all settings work.
+ Zebra : UnderExposure = 20, OverExposure = 22
