hi friends
i have a signal trigger that have variable duration in every pulse (pulse duration is variable In between  1/30 second 1/10 )
how can i use this pulse signal to effect expos time in video record mode to achieve one frame record per pulse signal
while if signal duration is 1/10 second specific frame expose duration been 1/10
or  if signal duration is 1/30 second specific frame expose duration been 1/30
in other word i want synchronies video mode with this signal
i want control camera with chdkptp
every body have more information about video timer controlling that i use it in my case

I merged these topics as they appear to refer to the same project. As I've said several times before, it's much easier to follow posts related to the same thing are in one thread.

There is no reason to assume the PowerShot firmware is the same as EOS firmware in this area. It might be similar, it might not be. If you want to do this, you'll need to reverse engineer your specific firmware. I recommendGhidra for reverse engineering.

Some information about controlling video exposure can be found in https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Manual_Exposure_Control_for_Video_Recording

Some information about syncing with video refresh can be found in https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13363.0

Neither of these will directly address your needs, but they may provide some starting points.

It's not clear to me how the external time generators you linked would be relevant.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
