Is there a way to add ticking sound when self timer is set up by the script?

You can use a simple script to manage a 10 sec delay.   The shoot.lua script in the /CHDK/SCRIPTS/4pack/Lua directory is one example.

For more detailed information,  it would help if you identify what camera you have.

You're asking in the wrong forum - CHDK doesn't run on DSLR's like the EOS 400D. Magic Lantern (http://magiclantern.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Lantern_Firmware_Wiki) does, but doesn't have the same facilities.

Apparently you installed something called 400plus.   Definitely not CHDK - but a similiar idea from what I can see on their wiki page.

If you're looking for help,  better to post in the spin-off (non-CHDK) thread  for that camera.  Maybe somebody can help you there.  http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=3290
