hi, i do have this problem with chdk for mine ixus 960is

ive updated to the latest version and menu after pressing down up... hide. whats quite uncomfortable.

 in OSD parameters i do have - Show OSD and
in OSD parameters - Hide in - Dont.

is it normal that it hides all the time or am i crazed? sory for another lama question. thanks for help

I don't understand what you are trying to show in that video. If you mean the CHDK menu disappearing, it is normal for this to happen when the canon firmware updates the screen. If you press up or down, most of the CHDK menu will get re-drawn.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

It almost never happens in play mode. You can set your CHDK settings then, and then switch to record. It also depends on camera settings, for example if face detection is on, the canon firmware updates the screen frequently to display the face box.
