SX160 - Video Bitrate Control?

Video Quality control has been enabled for this camera, but not Video Bitrate, (which has the greatest effect on video compression quality).

What's involved in enabling this?

I don't believe anyone ever figured out how to implement this for the cameras that use .MOV/h264 video.

Ok, thanks. Where would one start looking to work out how to implement this? Is it a major undertaking?

And yes, it would be a major undertaking for an experienced software engineer starting from scratch.
