looking for an ixus65/sd630 tester

Looking for someone who has this camera to verify a few things before I check in.

With the attached diskboot, CHDK will show a window with some values labeled m, s, r and z.

In this display, please check:
- m: is 0x82FC when the canon menu (opened with the menu button) is not open, and some other value when it is.
- s: is zero when the func menu is not open, and one when it is
- r: should be zero
- z: is zero the zoom is not being adjusted, and non-zero when it is.

Check the function of the "Show OSD in review mode" option.
- Make sure a review is enabled in the canon menu (this is when the camera shows the image you've taken for a few seconds after you take the shot)
- In the CHDK OSD menu "Show OSD"  is checked, "Hide OSD" is set to "Don't"
- make sure some OSD elements (like the battery meter, clock etc, raw indicator) are enabled.
- when "Show OSD in review mode" is checked, the OSD should display in review mode, and when it is off, it should not.

Hi, i've got a SD630 and I'm willing to test it. I've used CHDK for years and been loving it.

What should I take note of when running this?

(i haven't dl'ed nor ran this yet)

The stuff described in the first post ;)

Basically, I need to confirm that my correction of some variables is correct.

I've got it downloaded, however since I've moved and this isn't my computer I'll be installing this build on the camera in some other time.  Just know that I'll be taking a bit of time to report back.

(BUmp!)

Ok, So as I turn it on...

m: 82fc
s: 0
r: 0
z: 0

m changes to 2b9970 (photo), 2b9960(video), 2bc4ec(browser) when I go into the Canon Menu.
s changes to 1 at the function menu of Video and Photo
r stays 0 all the time
z changes to 1 when I zoom in or out in both Video and PHoto modes.

Thanks. I've checked this in, the CHDK OSD in this port should now play more nicely with the canon stuff. This will be in autobuild 820 and later.
