I'm not completely sure I did everything the way it is supposed to be done but I got some results.
Thanks for testing.  llibtst.lua run without problems.
set_mode seems to works, there are some problems probably due to not enough delay.
To run mftest.lua please setup camera as described in wiki page, camera was in auto, but P mode is required, please disable AF and servo AF.
Could you check if raw capture works?
I think it is enough to include port in autobuild.

P mode? As in manual? Do I use CHDK for that? Otherwise there are no modes as far as I can see. The camera is pretty dumb - just turn it on and shoot. There are no AF options in the original firmware or is that a CHDK feature?

[edit] Found the P mode.

These are Canon firmware features. If you don't have the original manual, it's available for download form Canon
http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_a_series/powershot_a4000_is#BrochuresAndManuals

Chapter 4 covers P mode. Servo AF is also described there.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Thank you! Is there anything else I can do to help porting it to the A4000?
