I live in Iasi, Romania :)

They say they plan on making it European Capital of Culture in 2012 like Sibiu, Romania was in 2007. we'll see.

I'm glad you like it, I'm planning to go and take some pictures of other nice buildings around here. lately the lighting on beautiful buildings around here made them a joy to look at :)

where are you from?

offtopic: you can see that we also have smog :)
yea I've gotten used to Iasi as well, but the type of architectural lighting used now is a new thing so the city suddenly became interesting even to those of us that have been living here for dosens of years :) . Milano must be an awesome city, my father said that Italy is the most beautiful country and he has travelled a lot. glad to meet you too :)

I think the method you are talking about is good to create HDR picture. But if you don't want an HDR picture, you have to take several pictures with the same exposure to average the noise.

Hi PS,
I have been interested the this method since I obtained my S3. Sometime last year I downloaded the instructions and files to do use the method. After a few false starts I had a fair degree of success 1st using the example file and then my own.
The method makes extensive use of DCRAW
There is also a description of a 3 stop technique using photoshop (it works ok with PSElements) and relies on making a mask to smooth the overlay of the two images.

Because both methods require a 16 bit working space to perform the overlap/masking correctly I was prepared to wait for the final version. Since last November its been 'Coming Real Soon'  but have recently trying to learn the ins and outs of PhotoLine using PSE plugins to get a 16bit mask working and repeat the 3 stop method without the 8bit limitation!

I can probably find the original details if you missed them.
