I don't think it was a personal message.
I will try searching the forum.
I think it was in an email that will now be languishing on a hard drive that does not boot (though the data can be retrieved using an external caddy).

I think the forum post included an image of the electronics.

The ten second time-out no longer applies, it can be as long as you like.
