Hold the DISP button down for more than one second (while not in <ALT> mode) and it should toggle through the display modes.

that works fine here

I confirm that: holding the DISP button out of ALT mode works exactly like pressing it with the standard firmware.

Cheers,

I now own a SD1400 with 100a firmware  and I'm willing to test the svn code that is not currently enabled in the autobuild in hopes that it can be included. ::)

SD card lock booting method only - hope that's okay.

I loaded the downloaded file to a 4g card (lock booting method) and it boots right up.
It created badpixel.bin on the first try. WOW!
While setting OSD colors I got the message: :-X  "a camera error was detected camera will shut down O2E" and turned off.    I restarted the camera and continued setting OSD parameters with no problems. I then ran scripts for the following HDR, interval, motion and shoot in both .bas and .lua without any problems.  Both jpg and DNG images were written and look good.  ::) So far so good, stay tuned more testing and results to come.

Thanks Again Waterwingz :D

Excellent! And thank you for reporting your testing results.  Too often stuff gets posted here and nobody has the manners to come back and report on results or at least say "thanks".

That's somewhat disconcerting.  Have never seen that myself.  Nor have I seen anyone mention it on this forum.  Maybe reyalp has...

Check and see if the CHDK video functions work when you have a minute?

Many people made CHDK what it is today. My part has been relatively small. But thank you anyway.

Hey Waterwingz, just calling back so you know I didn't do a download-and-run :P

It may be because this is my first time trying CHDK or it may be something else- I'm having a really hard time getting the camera to run the software, so my results may come a bit late. Still learning and trying, so bear with me!
Thanks so much for your work thus far, as it is.

You probably want to start here :  http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card

I highly recommend that you use the installation utility at the top of that page : http://zenoshrdlu.com/stick/stick.html

To avoid confusion: STICK can't install unofficial zip releases, so a different utility will be needed.

Good point - thanks.  I actually sent zeno a note asking for this feature to be added.
